Vlad Coric, M.D.
Associate Clinical Professor, Yale University School of Medicine

Vlad Coric, M.D., completed his psychiatry training at the Yale Psychiatry Residency Training Program, where he served as the Program-Wide Chief Resident for the Yale Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Coric earned his medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina.

Dr. Coric is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. He served as Chief of the Yale Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit for six years, and he served as Director of the Yale Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Research Clinic.

Dr. Coric supervises and teaches psychiatry residents, medical students, and physician-assistant students at the Yale School of Medicine. His research interests include the neurobiology and treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychobiological indices of stress, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance abuse/dependence.

In addition to serving on the Cenestra Health Scientific Advisory Board, Dr. Coric is employed by a major pharmaceutical company where he directs clinical neuroscience research trials. Dr. Coric also continues to practice clinical and forensic psychiatry. Dr. Coric has served as President of the Connecticut Psychiatric Society and has numerous peer reviewed publications.
